Although ceremonial disposal of the Flag of the United States in bulk is usually handled by other veterans’ organizations, the Hero’s of ’76 perform a special ceremony for flags that have served in the military or public domain, at prominent locations, or for special purposes. This ceremony is limited to three flags, should that many qualify for ceremonial disposal. Others will be delivered to the appropriate veteran’s organization for bulk disposal in conformance with custom.

If you have a flag to nominate for ceremonial destruction please provide a brief, one page, synopsis of the service performed by the flag and transmit it by email to Robert Monroe or deliver it to Ms. Pat Sullivan at the Pacific Beach Resort and Conference Center for forwarding.
