We are very proud of our Vanpools because they represent Kitsap Transit's rapidly growing Vanpool/Rideshare program.  In winter months, when it is harder to maintain the cleanliness of the vans, please remember to wash and vacuum your van once a month as required (twice if needed).  In doing so, we will continue to attract potential vanpoolers by maintaining a positive appearance of our fleet of vans. 

Kitsap Transit has established van washing facilities throughout the county.  At these facilities, you will need to write down the date, van number, and sign your name on a form that the car wash attendant will provide.

If these facilities are inconvenient for you to use, you may wash the van at home if you wish.  By doing so, you can take a $10.00 wash credit off your vanpool fare by filling out the credit sheet provided by Kitsap Transit.  If you take the van to another washing facility other than those listed above, make sure you attach the receipt ($10.00 limit), to your Monthly Sales Report to receive the credit.
